Default Sound system upgrade?

I’m thinking about upgrading the sound system in the sc. I want it to be louder but not sure where to start. New head unit, new amp, new speakers, or all of the above? any recommendations?

I found that installing a quality replacement head unit using the factory amp and factory speakers will give you plenty of volume and a quality sound with the integrated equalizer.

So is the additional power in the new after market unit drive more volume? Or just optimize sound via equalizer?

I'd like to upgrade the head unit...already did the speakers. But will it deliver more sound? My big thing is bluetooth (which I've got a radio interface for that now...but you've got to crank the volume to hear it well) and backup camera.

The aftermarket head unit that I installed has all the latest features, bluetooth, sirius, frt and/or rear camera jacks, pandora, dvd, etc. As long as the oem speakers are of good quality, we do not turn up the volume more than halfway, that is plenty loud. I added a 2nd amp for an updated sub, that reduces the load for the factory amp and makes the available power for the speakers increase,

I've already upgraded the speakers to 8 ohm Dayton Audio. It's loud enough on CD...the radio / bluetooth isn't as loud, but has decent volume with everything turned up almost to the max. I don't like that part...probably not good for anything...including the AMP. I'm guessing most 50 watt head units have a lot more juice than the OEM version out of the box...so that should also help...plus having BT internal.

Thanks for the reply.
