hi .i have a 95 ls 400 with the regular premium sound system, not the nak.would i get a whole lot better sound if i put in a nak factory amp?what do you suggest i do to get better sound thats easy and factory?also my system sounds better bass wise at a stop then it does when im driving?what gives?thx in advance.
As for the changing of the amps, that is not really a cost effective thing to try. First off, the Nak amp has completely different plugs verses those from the Pioneer premium system amp. Secondly, the sound systems designed either by Pioneer or by Nakamichi are set up in the cars to operate with their stereo's and speakers. Improvements can be made if different speakers are substituted for the factory ones but keep in mind that the amplifiers used in either system type have built in cross-overs and will change the sound if you select the wrong type of speaker bad results will happen.
