I have a 2004 SC430 with the recommended new (2,000 miles) tires on all four wheels. 245/40R18 Michelin Sport. Yesterday the tire pressure warning signal activated. I have check all four tires and set the PSI at 33. The lowest one was at 29 PSI and Highest 33 PSI.

The light remains ON. What am I missing or what is the problem?

If the sensors in the wheels have not been replaced, you likely have a battery going bad in one of the sensors. The only way to correct this is to replace the sensor. Batteries are not serviceable. If you decide to replace sensors, I would replace all of them at the same time.

I'm not too familiar with the SC430 but on my 4runner, there is a difference between a flashing TPMS light and a solid light. A solid light is low on air, a flashing light is a malfunction in the sensor (probably dead battery).

No differentiation on an SC. Light on is either low air pressure or bad battery. You have to remember, the SC was one of the very first cars to have TPMS. Very simple system. An 04 is likely to have batteries starting to go.

Do you have Techstream? You can find out which one is dead or turn off the warning light either with Techstream or disconnect the cable.
