In 2006 I drove through a larger-than-it-looked puddle. The VSC-VSC Off-ABS lights first came on sometime after that - not sure when. I'm not assuming cause and effect, but you never know.

Dealer replaced the left front wheel speed sensor (open circuit), but the lights came back on later.
In 2008 the dealer replaced that sensor again.
In 2011 the dealer replaced that sensor yet again. Codes C0205, C1236, C1223

In 2017 I presented the same problem to a different dealer. The factory rep told the dealer that suspension damage can cause it. Although I never had damage of any sort, I did have the sway bars replaced with Daizen bars back in 2004 at 8,700 miles. I advised them of that so they checked and said the sway bars were on upside down! Fixing that didn't help.

Each time after being serviced the lights were off, but it was only a matter of time before they came on again.

Anyone have any experience or helpful comments on what could be causing this?

Thanks,
EdP

I had an issue with the passenger side and it was grease on the sensor. The sensor could not get a good read...I wiped off the grease and all was good again. It happened after front end maintenance.
