Thanks, will try today. It's a scorcher in Texas today.

And this is what mine looks like today. Considering I started out this thread with that HUGE long bubble and actually did the fix exactly one month ago, I think its pretty safe to say we have a winner on the air bubble fix. Just let the air out!

I poked my bubble with an Exacto blade in several places and pushed the vinyl back down with the palm of my hand. So far, so good. I wondering if I should perforate the entire cover to prevent future bubbles in other spots.

This is why I like this site so much. Used a 3ml syringe to puncture the bubble (mine was the size of a golf ball), left out in the sun for 3 hours on 90 degree sunny day with weight of about 3lbs. Can't tell that it was ever there. Thanks for the tip.

Well I can tell you from mine that it never did "stick" back down again. But it should never balloon up again and I will be the only one who ever knew it was there. I'd buy that for a dollar!

Did ours after seeing this thread. Needle from the drug store, one puncture after letting it sit in the hot sun a couple hours first. Placed a weight on it for an hour or so. Looks like it never was there.

It probably is not necessary to use a syringe. Just a small hole and gently push the air out.

Having it in the hot sun helped.

I don’t think glue would be a good idea.

We have a 2004 SC430. What year are all of yours? Seems like the bubble is in the same place except that long one. I wonder if they had a bad batch in the vinyl lamination place for a while. Or is there any other reason it happens?
