Performance Package

Trying to decide whether the Performance Package is worth the money. Anyone that has this, please let me know how it improves the handling and gas mileage when in normal and low modes. The dealer makes it sound intriguing, and I keep reading reviews about it...but I need to hear how it is working with real people out on the streets.

Somebody, anybody that has even test driven a factory performance package RX, please put some comments down. I need some input as the dealers I have spoken to have told me that they would have to order it since no one seems to have one in stock.

I have read one professional review that said that it makes cornering and handling better, but I have read another that said the difference was negligible. Basically, that is all the reviews I have to go on. HELP!!

I've mostly heard it doesn't really make a big difference. You can get the AFS now w/o getting the Perf Pkg. If it was me, I'd just go with the regular package you like most. Just my opinion though..

Unless you're leasing the car; I would not go with the performance package/air suspension.

If you're leasing it, you wont have to worry about the air shock/strut replacement over time.

the vast majority of the cars coming thru have premium/premium plus package, very few if any cars come thru on stock allocation with perfromance package.

I wouldnt bother with performance package. The ride is not that much different.
