Default A/C Screen

How do I get to and clean the other side of my A/C screen, please? It is foggy. around the left side, I believe because of an ineptly-used steam cleaner.

I believe that’s an anti glare coating that’s been degraded over time, and abrasive cleaning solutions.

Use a pick or suction cup, double sided tape, etc. Most of them fall off/pop off without much resistance.

That is not how your "How to video" shows it being done. It shows that you take the entire unit out and unsolder the screen. What is correct? I might be interested if the screen can be removed without doing what your video shows. If not, forget it.

The LCD screen is different than the product in question, which is the anti glare plastic / lens

So replacing the anti glare will not help with the "degraded" look?

See the picture on our product link and/or compare it to your climate control to see if the anti glare lens will solve your issue. Or you can upload a picture of your climate unit here and we can tell you what will solve the problem.

Tanin is right. You can pick the screen off easily, with a piece of tape, and clean it.

I think I like your suction cup idea better, since the pick seems to damage the screen. Of course, if you are replacing the one you take off, I guess it wouldn't really matter.

Correct, there is no fixing them once they start to peel, fade, and start to lose their coating so it's junk anyways. There's nothing behind it that you would need to "clean", per say.

You could also drill a small hole in the lens to pull it out if you are concerned with scratching the plastic bezel. Or put some tape down, or a cloth, etc to protect the plastic.
