Well I gave everybody 5 days to jump on this but no takers so tomorrow I will take a trip and go look at and hopefully buy it for my son who will be upgrading from his 2005. If the sale goes through his 2005 with 90k on the clock will be going up for sale. Just a reminder I just installed the spare tire conversion kit in his 05 in May. The work is never done for a dad.

LOL. No I would leave it in the 05 and order another kit from Megazip. That would be my 3rd spare tire conversion kit install so I have got it down pat by now.

I think the upgrade from the 2005 to the 2007 would be a significant one (and you probably already know that, owing a 2006 model already). You're going to be our forum "resident expert" on the spare tire conversion process after this one! Good luck!
