Bluetooth Question
My question is can I Bluetooth a iPad mini which has my iTunes library on it and play it through the audio system? I know you can Bluetooth a phone to the system but can you Bluetooth a iPad? I was able to connect the iPad via Bluetooth on our LS 460L and listen to music all the way to VA a couple of weeks. Can I do it on our 2006 SC? If so how do I go about it? I do not use a smart phone.

You can add a GROM audio input to your system that will add Bluetooth to your Stereo. I really like my GROM
There are other companies of course. Here is one from GTA that has an install video for the sc430

Dennis,
Or you could do like me, cheap, simple and effective, get the monster cassette adapter and plug into you Ipad. Route the wire from the cassette thru your ashtray. Close your radio door then no one knows you are using an adapter (but who cares if they knew!}
All you have to do now is mount your Ipad. I recommend this phone holder:

Its magnet and double sided tape are really strong, they could easily hold the Ipad Air.
Now, you can have your musics, maps and hand free phone without any hassle and expensive gadgets. BTW, the sound is superb without any interference or lost of signal.

One more alternative, that you are probably already aware of, is the VAS SL3b-L that we have installed in our SC and works great. The VAIS SL3b-L is capable of streaming all apple products, including the iPad, via Bluetooth, based on phone conversation that I had with them before purchasing it.
