Was there a recall on the cup holders in the SC's?

GmanSC, did mine come from you too? If they did, thanks again. I have never found these here on our local dollar stores...can not live with out it. I did have at least 1 coffee spill....or scotch spill, depending on time of day. LOL! Kidding, I do not drink and drive.

I guess I'm odd. I don't drink or eat in my cars. Never have. The cupholder does make a dandy phone holder though.

I am like you we never eat in our cars but we will take our water glasses in the LS. The glasses are 7 3/4 inches high. I had read several threads and just want to check and see if Lexus had come up with a fix that maybe had not been done on my SC. We might take the water glasses if we were both going in the SC and the DW could keep an eye on them but otherwise probable not going to take one.

Picked up a set of blue ones today. Out the door for $2.14. Our big water glasses will not work in them but a regular bottle of water or can will.

The insulated 20 oz drink container (link below) fits perfectly (no shaking, rattling, etc) in the existing SC430 cup holders. I ordered two of them.

 

In another thread, mak99 found some thermal mugs (no handle) that fit perfect in the cup holder and hold the temperature quite well. He found them at JCP, use this number on a search 848974150372. They are called Ranger Coffee. They are about $15. I wound up getting 2. (Web ID 7882415)

I just checked on JCP and it indicated that they are out of stock but you can get a stock alert on them. You might be able to find them elsewhere also.
