Spare Tire Conversion Parts Price Comparison
So I worked up the Tire Conversion parts list price and did just one item comparison . Part 64716-24080-B0 which is the Rear Cover w/o run flat's. This is the part that goes against the rear wall of the trunk that you bolt the bracket 51938-24010 to/through.
From My Lexus Parts the part 64716-24080-B0 part is $128.42. With a CL 5% discount that makes the part $122.00. Now here is the kicker. The shipping for that 1 part is $163.00 or a total for the part of $285.00
I called the Lexus Dealership in Tulsa, OK (the closet Lexus Dealer) and spoke to Dave in parts. The price for Part 64716-24080-B0 is $178.00 plus $16.00 for Sales Tax for an out the door price of $194 and while the dealership price is $72.00 higher with Tax it is $91.00 cheaper than ordering it from My Lexus Parts even with a 5% discount.
So the My Lexus Parts may not be the best solution even with a 5% discount given the shipping costs and some items.

You may want to ask your local dealer if they would be willing to match MyLParts price.
You can explain that you know you have to pay tax by buying locally, but are willing to do that, since you will get the part sooner.
I am not saying you should lie about the shipping cost, just that you don't have to bring it up unless they ask.
Have you looked on ebay lately? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...kw=sc430+spare
I bet any of those salvage yards that have a spare tire kit available, would be willing to get you the bracket you need for a fraction of the price of a new one. Afterall, who buys a spare tire kit, without the bracket?

I remember reading something that said there were 18 2011's made and 5-6 2012's. I have never seen an 11 or a 12 for sale but that would be a nice "Barn Find"
