Driver's side door lock actuator
Guys-
Need some help-have searched a lot on this topic. I have the door panel off on the driver's side and disconnect the two cables that connect on the back of the door panel.
When looking at the door from the drivers seat-where is the actuator located? thanks.

the cables will take you to the actuator.

I did take a look at this thread, but it is for removing the door handle. Most articles I see don't remove the handle to get to the actuator. What I am trying to figure out is which screws/bolts do I actually remove to get the actuator assembly out?

the link I provided has about 20 pics, instructions for the door actuator removal and replacement.
it also shows you how to replace the actuator motor.
you don’t need to remove the door handle.
