Door in closed position, actuator broken, how do you get door open?
I have seen many posts about the clips, etc... I actually started there, replacing a clip for out door handle... now handle works, but when it pushes down the door does not release!... assume actuator is broken... but how in the heck do you get door open to undo the 3 t-30 screws so you can take actuator out?
Is there some way to bypass the actuator and get door to release?
Help!

You have to take out all the screws that you can get at on the door panel. then pull the top back and reach your hand down into the door and push the latch down with your finger. it might break the door panel, but that was the only way i could get mine off.

Yes I know, but
I have panel off, can see actuator, can push latch down, but it no longer releases the door latch.... it is if my actuator is broken... so is there some way to get the latch to release?

False alarm? I guess actuator is actually mechanical? I took actuator out and the bar that the cable level connects to was bent, I guess causing the lock to not dis-engage, therefor not allowing door to un-latch... everything back together and working quiet nicely...
door panel is a mess though!!!
thanks all.
