If it's better you, pull the door down with your finger so that it stays in the closed position until you figure out what you want to do. At least then the dash looks finished. Looking forward to seeing pics of the car!
you make a good point Kevin. I did replace one of the motors on my NAV screen recently and it’s fully functional again.
the little motors are about $5ea.

I have a slot in the black tray where the jack is located on the left/driver side 2nd slot in that is about 8 inches long and it appears something maybe index finger round went in it. Am I missing a part?

Dennis
another place to look for things is the owners manual...
Lexus will provide one free of charge if yours is missing.

Yes that is the place and like you mine is empty. Also the only fuse that I could find for the Nav/TV system is the 5 amp in the #14 slot in the passenger side fuse box? Is this correct? I pulled it and checked it with my amp meter and yes it is good so no joy in mudville.

here is an idea.
check the Lexus maintenance records and look at all entries prior to her report about the door/tilt problem.
did Lexus do any work in the dash or console?
perhaps, someone forgot a plug.

i am going to provide you with schematics of the system. Check all of those fuses.

Speaking of what's in the trunk.did the first aid kit come standard, or was it a option?

You might could call the dealer that worked on it and ask if they could tell you what they found.

I believe it came standard. I have the same one in our 2010 LS 460L. I opened the one on the SC today. It had never been opened, I cut the wire tie with the round Lexus medallion attached to it off. I added the large size band aids to it (I bleed a lot).

Congrats! I also picked up a 2005 SC430 shortly after I sold my 2018 Camaro Zl1. Bought some wheels and coilovers for it already. It's definitely a nice cruiser.
