My 2003 SC 430 has DVD NAVIGATION MAP NORTH AMERICA. 86271-33031 D ver.02.1.
I would like to update to the latest version for my vehicle, but am at a loss as to where to start. Dealer will charge me an arm and a leg for a new disk I can insert myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Toyota/Lexus U08 ver 13.1 is last available for the Gen 2/3 navigation in the 2003 Sc430. Since you are on a version higher than 1.0, ejecting and inserting the new dvd is all it takes. Ebay is a good “economical” source for finding the update. Additionally, the last version comes in two flavors (east or west). Both dvds cover the entire nation with the only difference being the POI data entries split into the two areas. They had to do this because they’ve reached the capacity of the DL dvd.

many of us did it and other Toyota models are compatible!
