clicking noise in front suspension what would be the first thing to check 2003 sc430

 

When does it click and what kind of suspension are you running?

 

stock suspension clicks when brakes are applied forward and backward saw what looked like a part replacement front lower control arm.

 

Most likely just the pads shifting. Mine did that for years until I changed the spring clips in the calipers last time I changed the pads. No more clicks now.

 

I think there is a decent chance it is your control arm. You can jack your front wheel up and shake it left and right and back and forth and see if there is any play in it. If there is, something is wrong.
