Parking lights weirdness?
Hello all....have a strange situation...changed front parking lights to led's months ago with no problems...just noticed turning on lights (both positions) that parking lights are off and front marker lights too but rear marker and tail lights are on...not fuse because all those lights are on same fuse......loose connection somewhere? any ideas?
PS: I tried switching back to the oem bulbs and it's the same...they come on intermittently....is there any relay besides the fuse..need some feedback please......totally baffled on this one and electrical is not my strong point........
Update: .....issue resolved it was a bad relay

....man this is close to my issue last week, the only difference is that I would blow a fuse, but the rear markers & tail lights would still come on. My issue was a faulty parklight socket (front),I had crushed it somehow & the metal tabs inside were touching. You might try checking your sockets or a possible shortage in the connections, somehow the front park lights & front markers are connected, but separate from the tail lights...........go figure & they share the same fuse, at least that's what it says
Why the relay? Are they all connected to a fuse in passenger fuse box? Why one out and not the others? Without the schematic, it’s hard to say.
Appears the parking lights and front markers are on this relay in engine compartment on drivers side.....texsexlex is correct, they are apparently on this relay separate from the rear markers and tail lights...and I switched back the led parking bulbs and all is well....

As I recall it was CRA or Horn......can"t go wrong pulling and putting in new relay in the different 4 spots; sorry my old mind can't remember what I ate this morning, but for sure was one of 4 spots (Wash, Horn, a/c Comp or CRA)...should resolve your problem :-)

That's a bummer. What have you done so far to fix it? Did you upgrade to LED bulbs, or did you stick to the traditional bulbs? Let us know and we can give you the next step to resolving the issue
I changed all parking light bulbs, still no light, read some forums and they said it could be a tail light relay. That would be my next step.
Look through this list and see what you can find. I didn't see a relay for parking lights, but to be realistic, parking lights draw such low voltage, they would not require a relay on their own.
Does anything else not work on your car?

You may want to check fuse 31 in the trunk. That is the fuse for your license plate light. I could see those lights being combined on a fuse.
Do you have a volt meter you can check the socket with?
