I put my car in neutral, and turned on my headlights/foglights. I walked to the front of my car to see what lights were on:

lowbeams
fogs
small orange lights inside the highbeam casing

when I put my car in park and checked the lights again, those were the same lights on in the front.

Where are my parking lights?? I was going to order a new set to replace with LED (part of my facelift project), but i'm not going to order any if they aren't even part of my lighting setup. Am I missing something?

ok, i thought those were the DRL's, and that those were on when the car was in neutral/drive/reverse.

So, i guess my question is, where are the DLR's located, and when do my parking lights come off and DRL's come on?

 

i checked my setup today, and when i turn my lights **** 1 time, the lights come on in the upper corner of the casing of the hibeam area (yellow/orange lights). are those my Parking lights? and my DRL's are basically always on, right in the center of my hi beams. Can someone confirm this?

 

The drl is the same bulb as highbeam, just running at like 50 percent power. Yea the tiny light bulb inside the highbeam housing is the parking light

 

Turning the **** 1 time will turn on your parking lights with the DRL still on. Turning the **** 2 times will turn on your low beams with the DRL off.

Thanks! It was indeed burned out on the broken side (awaiting replacement) so presumably on the good side too. I wonder how many years they've been out!
