Default headlights goes outs

hi all I have a 07 sc430 and my head lights come on fine but after awhile one side will flicker alittle bit then it'll go out most of the time it's the left side the right not so much only rarely do they both go out at the same time and the car doesn't have to be moving it'll happen just sitting there now more so than before i'm a diy guy so I will try to fix it myself just need to know what to replace or look for thanks. when the lights go out I turn em off then back on and they work again for awhile anyway

My initial impression from your description is oxidation at a connector interfering with the flow of power to the bulb. So first thing I’d do would be an inspection of the wiring and connector at the bulb.
Corrosion/Oxidation is the #1 enemy of your car’s electrical system and power source
connections. Corrosion/Oxidation can cause a faulty or inconsistent ground which can lead to number of problems, one of which being voltage spikes or surges that can cause VERY harmful effects to your car’s tech. Corrosion is routinely found in the field and will also cause problems related to insufficient or interrupted voltage that can affect performance.
It can be found on battery cables, electrical connectors, fuse connections, relays or completely hidden within the ECM connector and other connectors.

Time to change your headlight bulb(s). When they’re flickering, they will die shortly.

If your bulbs are the originals, it is time to change them. The symptoms you describe are classic pre failure signs.

Exactly, the headlight bulb Needs to be replaced. That is totally the sign of a bad hid bulb.

And replace them both, you'll cuss a blue streak when you have to do the second one a little ways down the road.
