Ah nuts, I just read the ad and realise:
1. Price gone up a bit.
2. It is only for 2002 to 2005...

I might have to send them an E-mail to see.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but all the SC430 have the same steering wheel across 2001-2010 (from my recollection). As for price, I think you would have to message Tomasz via ebay. He is always on the lookout for SC430 steering wheels to customize but they don't come along very often in Poland. You can always work something out with him to mail him your steering wheel or even one that you purchase used and he will do the work and send it back to you. Better yet, order from Ebay have ebay ship it and you get the Ebay guarantee; if anything happens, you get to write it off and Ebay/seller reimburses you. All comes down to how much you'd like to spend and how long you can wait. He's a nice guy and willing to work with people. Shoot him an email, let him know Shawn from Lublin sent you his way.

There may be another, less costly, option. In addition to my 06 SC, I have a 1990 Avanti 4-door. I redid the interior, including changing the steering wheel. I found a company in California that covers steering wheels, either with paint, wood and/ or leather. They are called B & I, a division of TACNA International Corp, 1401 Air Wing Road, San Diego, CA 92154, TEL: 800-382-6164. I bought a wheel from a Cadillac CTS-V, had B & I match the existing wood trim in my Avanti and provided them with some blue leather to use (same as I used to cover the seats). Cost me less than $200 in late 2013. One thing to note is that the billing went through CarID in New Jersey, TEL: 866-909-6699. I had the wheel diameter increased by B & I before they finished it (I have large hands) and opted for the finger indentations (can be smooth if you prefer that feel).

Please do not take this as demeaning what Tomasz does - Shawn's wheel turned out amazing. I'm just offering a possible alternative. You would be advised to investigate carefully.
Cheers,
Rich

Looks good. Always good to have options and create competition. Also, I get no kick back from Tomasz. I just think when someone goes above and beyond plus has superb craftsmanship, they deserve praise. Its just good to see someone creating custom work in a world where everything has become mass production and factories producing cookie cutter products. Thanks for sourcing your shop. Looks like they do good work also. Hopefully if someone gets more info they will report back.

Default Steering wheel diameter after refinishing

ShawnOK. Great job on sourcing a custom steering wheel from the other side of the world. I would like to purchase a similar item from Thomasz but questions i have for you are about the completed diameter. Can you please measure the steering wheel from the 12 O'clock to 6 O'clock position and from the 9 O'clock to 3 O'clock position as i am wondering what the finished diameter is. Also does the upgraded wheel have increased padding? As this will also contribute to a larger diameter. Also since the diameter looks smaller than stock in the photos, do you notice any differences when making u-turns or does the car feel at all unsteady when driving through high speed corners. Thanks for any help and for discovering an asset.
