Hi Shawn - that looks great. Glad you were finally able to get your hands on the custom steering wheel. It does make such a difference to how the car feels. Still really pleased with mine and it has absolutely no signs of wear on it so far.

Shawn, that looks awesome! Also did you do all the carbon fiber over the wood? I have the light wood, which I am not crazy about, and keep thinking I need the darker wood, but seeing your car, wondering about carbon fiber. Is there a DIY for wrapping the wood?

Yes, I have wrapped my full interior in 3M Anthracite Carbon Fiber. Here's the link.. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...rior-wrap.html. I originally had a local vinyl shop kid do it for me outside of the business (business was super shady; lost my OEM side markers and promised to buy me new ones... never did). Kid did an ok job but wrapped things without removal of panels, but I'm a perfectionist so I redid most on my own. Had to remove all the pieces of course to get the best result. I'm very happy with results and get quite a few compliments. There's no DIY that I know of, but lots of YouTube videos that helped me figure it out. Will44 out of UK was first to start this trend, I think.

Shawn, even though I think what you have done is in good taste & very popular with a lot of the members, but I personally like the wood look. That was one of the main reasons as to why we purchased the Lexus over other sports cars.
I've always liked the contrast, unlike everything looking the same. Our SC is Silver External & Black Internal, & I think the Wood highlights the interior.
The beauty about the whole thing is that they are our cars, & we can do whatever we want with them & that goes with external customizing. Not to get away from the subject, but I have a 1960 Ford Thunderbird & I am installing the 1956 Port Hole Windows
to it.
