Well I'll just throw the information out there. http://www.pqiamerica.com/June%20201...d%200W-20.html . The 5-30 information is in post 22. The numbers can be compared. Think of this though, an 80 degree day stop and go traffic. Thermal break down starts happening because of elevated oil temperature. Which one has extra cushion in the bank? The numbers also shows cold flow is actually worse with the 0w-20 compared to most 5w-30. I don't see personally a good reason to use 0w-20.

This is a big factor in my decision to use 5w-30. The US Government mandated better fuel economy but not better longevity.

exactly, the rest of the world went to 0w-30 and 0w-40. They have chosen other methods to save fuel.

as I said previously, I will continue to use 5W30 in my car.
