Default different brand of engine oil

I usually buy the cheaper oil out of the 3 brands of oil whenever they have a sale going on, pennzoil, mobil 1 and royal purple...
They all synthetic oil, but is it bad for the engine running different brand of oil at every oil change?

No you are fine, I would not swap between synthetic and non synthetic, but buying different brands of the same type/weight because one is cheaper is fine.

And even then, changing types of oil isn't a huge concern either...

Been doing that for years switching from synthetic to regular and vice versa...

no problems, all cars ran strong and never any problems...

Another great regular oil would Shell Rotella Oil, pretty good and very affordable

Rotella is formulated generally for diesel engines... it also has weird weights that rarely lend themselves to newer gasoline engines...

I use the best Castrol Synthetic availabale at my local AAP store. That $10 a quart stuff. Hey, the way I see it is you get what you put in, so with that being said, I use nothing but the best money can buy for my cars. Even my Honda Civics too lol.

This is what I use on my GS430. If you have a Walmart by your state I would recommend going there and get the 5 gallon jugs. It way much cheaper and less plastic.

As for honda civic, I would just use regular GTX Castrol.

Your absolutely right my friend. Up until recently I was paying almost $10 a quart at my local AAP. Almost $100 every tune up and that for me is every 3,000k or so. Between K&N oil filter (HP 1002) and Castrol Syhthetic oil it was coming close to $100. Now I purchase my oil and recycle my old for free at Wal-Mart. The 5 quart jug is about $28 + give or take $14 on the oil filter I'm so happy...

And hey, before my GS430 came along, my Honda Civics were taking all the torture I would give them. Being that I'm a meticulous person and work hard, I spend the best on them as well. Castrol Sythetic for the whole crew lol

I just use Mobil1 in most cases. Now that I am towing 6500lb with the Ram regularly, I will be switching to AMSOIL.

Good to know going from different types shouldn't be a problem. I believe I had Mobil 1, and then recently went to Toyota brand. But I will be going back to Mobil 1 and sticking with it when it is time for another change.
