No I haven't but the more I think about it I wanna go with aftermarket wheels. Any suggestions I want black with some chrome in it.

 

take a look on Craigslist in your area...there are some nice looking black/chrome wheels on the newer cars and some still change them out...just a thought.

 

Would you be interested in the original chrome wheels off my 2006 for $400?

 

Are you selling the tires with the wheels?

The tires are worn out run flats and I'm not planning on having them re-mounted after I retrieve the TPMS to install in my G-Spiders.

Nothing cheap and OEM style option are the 2IS wheels IS250/350 from 06+, I have seen 06 wheels for around $300 bucks the only heads up is they are staggered so you either neither to buy a set that has been unstaggered or by two and sell one unstaggered set off. I kept all 18x8.5s to go with wider tires.

 

im not interested in that style, but a very nice looking sc for sure. I wish i had white thinking of wrapping mine to either a white or some color changing color when look at from different angels.

 

If you don't mind my asking StillLine...where did you get your G-spiders....and can you share price paid?

Nope, don't mind you asking at all. I bought my G-Spiders from another CL member who had them listed in the CL classifieds. The wheels are in perfect, like brand new condition and had decent rubber on them. I drove to Toledo, Ohio and picked them up for $800.

I also found my GS wheels in the CL member classifieds. They're in excellent condition with nearly brand new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. I drove just up the road to Joliet, IL and picked them up for $700. The like new Michelin tires are going on the G-Spiders with my OEM TPMS in the near future. The OEM chrome wheels and possibly the GS wheels will be for sale at that time.

I think both sets of wheels look good on my white gold crystal SC.

Let me know if you decide to sell the GS....not my first choice...but better than the stock 5-spoke.

I found some G-spiders....new on ebay for $1070 shipped. More than I wanted to pay...so I will be watching all the sites for used ones for a while. Also found some after market wheels on ebay that look very similiar to your GS wheels for $470.... and a few similiar to the G-spiders for $570...I like the price....just am worried about the quality.

If you want to get creative and only need one rim, you can buy these rims here https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sg...991334318.html and then buy these center caps https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sg...03217494.html. Between the two you should be able to get the rim you need and sell the rest to someone else who only needs one rim.
