Default CD Problem - Again

About a month ago I finally was able to remove the 6 CDs that were stuck in the CD player when I bought the car last September! Since we got the CD player playing again we have been very careful when inserting or ejecting CDs. We only loaded one CD into the player instead of loading all six slots. Last Friday we tried to remove the current CD and put in another one. It acted like it was going to eject the CD and then didn't do it. The slot cover was open and I could see the CD in the slot. I slipped another CD under the stuck one and pulled both out. Now when I press the load button it says "load 2" and then it switches to "error 3"! I am about to give up on this Mark Levinson CD player! My backup system is to plug my phone into a Cassette adaptor and listen to Siriusxm app on the phone. Except each time we stop I have to disconnect everything so I can have my phone with me while we are out of the car! Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

I finally gave up on the CD player and went with the GROM USB 3. I REALLY REALLY like it. IT does MP3's on a memory stick, or you can upgrade to phone connector or Bluetooth hookup. It has better sound than the radio and has made me give up the desire to replace my radio.

The only drawback is it only works with 2005 and up cars

i think a guy named retroplay explained how to fix this problem. Do an advanced search on your topic. Seems like he did it in early 2016.

here is the search...plenty to read! Let us know how it works out. All of these threads have a response from retroplay, he is really smart!

Ok, it is fixed now. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...xus-sc430.html

The adapter only works with 2005 and up radios, though some 2005 radios were installed in 2004.

If you have an older radio, you can buy a 2005 radio with a broken CD player rather inexpensive. (I saw one on my local craigslist for $25)

That is what Retro play said he did https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc4...my-2003-a.html

Retroplay's post #80 in this thread provides a YouTube link for fixing a jammed CD that won't remove via the whack method.
