Default Considering a 2006 SC430 72k

I test drove the sc 430 the other day, i found it very smooth and very soft ride.

I noticed that when i accelerate the car feels heavy, as if it lacks the torque. Is this normal?

Also the steering felt loose at high speeds above 60mph. Is this normal.

they do have a little throttle lag but that can be addressed but sprint throttle boost mod...AS far as the
sterting could be a number of things..It all comes down to price and condition, car fax report is also helpful...If serious about car can have a check done by you favorite car repair shop...The miles is not that high for these cars but they are a little pricey to fix so a after market warranty would be good...I have a 2004 that I love to drive and plan to keep for a long time......Good luck with the car deal....

The steering feels like it was bu design on a looser side, yet it seems to have a mild response delay in higher speeds.

It feels like maybe a split second delay in steering response.

So the theottle delay is normal for the sc430? Its not that bad or anything it just feels like the car 1000 lb heavier. The reason i ask is bc i drove the gs430 and gs460 both vehicles dont have that. I am thinking it almost the same engine and tranny, so ultimately throttle should be the same.

How easy it is to install the throttle boost?? What exactly does it do?

Throttle is about 15 mins kinda plug and play, just to to google and type in sprint boost and it should bring up some
members quote on the subject...You could check tires ,steering fluid, or maybe a worn ball joint bushing How much are they asking for the car? There is a sticky note on this site about buying a used sc430 you can also look at...

Did you happen to enable the power mode button on the center console? That makes the car seem a little faster. I only drive it in power mode and much prefer it that way.

Yes I tried both, is it like over drive? What exactly does it do and is it safe for the car to drive it like that all the time?

The pwr function delays up shifts till higher in the rev band. Yes there is no harm in using it all the time.
