I came across a company that provides repair solutions for the Mark Levinson Speakers, SIMPLY SPEAKERS. They quoted me a price of $65.00 +$20.00 per speaker to send in to them and they would repair it not including the shipping. (Example)Two speakers $65.00 +$65.00 + $20.00 + shipping + approx $170.00 with shipping.
They also sell do it your self kits. Has anyone had any experience with " SIMPLY SPEAKERS"?

Many of us! Simply Speakers sells them on eBay and it is easy to repair the speakers.
$25 for two speakers. Save some money and DIY
The 6x9 ML Front Speakers are tuned in to our set up. If these were not so exorbitantly expensive, I would have replaced them with OEM.
My ML 6x9 front speakers were toast. The cones were busted. I did not know that some perople could repair it. However in my case, one side was totally no good. The magnet was toast.
I ended up replacing the front mid-range into Polk 8 ohms. To this day, I still think the OEM 6x9’s were better. I have to change the equalizer settings depending on the kind of music I listen to.
I have repaired my subwoofer with a kit from Simply Speakers and they are back to OEM level.
I think my RX330 sound system is better sounding than my SC’s. Which is not good for me.
My 6x9 was destroyed beyond repair. And to buy the new one or even used ones for our car, it's expensive. So I looked up the ML 6x9 from other Lexus model. Found one from a GX470 and one from a RX350. They both have different part numbers, but are the exact same size as the ones for our cars. They can be found cheaper, around $50-80 comparing to $150+ for ours. Work perfectly for me! Model number is 86160-0W560 in case someone wants to compare.

Do you know if they had the same impedance (ie. ohms of resistance)?
Do you know if they had the same impedance (ie. ohms of resistance)?
I didn't measure any of it. But, it's 8 ohm and from the ML system so, I assumed that it's the same. Plus, the shape and built are exactly the same. The only difference is the last 3 model numbers. Sound a world different.
I was speccifically looking for something like this attachment which was made for the SC to confirm the impedance but for the LX470 and RX350. Just to make sure that it is in fact the same impedance. I always live by the motto, "trust but confirm." Although there's much debate on this forum, I choose to stay with the same OEM impedance to avoid burning out my ML amp. (Different thread on this theory and opinions on the matter already).
I changed out the head unit with Pioneer AVH-8100NEX and keeping the sound system stock. The system are good enough for my taste. I have the same spec sheet like yours too Shawn.
