" TPM " saves the day !
Gang
I know everyone hate those dreaded TPM tire sensors in our tires
but they are really worth all the trouble !
In my case , one day out of the blue , my TPM came on
and I thought it was a low tire and just re pumped air in my
tire . The next day the light came on again but this time I looked
A bit more and as you can see, I caught a big nail
Thankfully I was at home and I drove the car the same night
to the tire shop for repair
For those who disabled the system with regular tires, make
Sure you have a spare to avoid getting stuck on the road
Cheers

I'm with you. Dumped the run-flats, got the correct size doughnut spare ready to go in the trunk and I still keep the factory TPMS fully functional. The wife is the primary driver and it provides me peace of mind.
Just had to replace the White TPMS sensor. Purchased through Amazon for $61, had a local tire shop do the replacement ( $10 ) and programmed it to the SC430 myself with a mini VCI cable and Toyota TIS TechStream software ( $35 ). Cheaper than the dealer cost of $270.
