Default TEIN CST - Front Shock Bushing Degraded

One of the front shock rubber bushings on my TEIN CST has badly degraded is making bad noises. The shock itself works fine - the EDFC controls it ok and there are no leaks.

Has anyone had this issue and been able to repair the shock? Maybe pressing out the old damaged bushing and replacing it?

My car is in the shop and I don't remember if the front and rear shocks on the CST are the same or not. I have a rear shock that I replace about 4 years ago because it was leaking. Todd M told me that it is possible to rebuild it, but I ordered a new one because I couldn't be without the car. If the front and rear shocks are the same, then I can send off the old rear one to be rebuilt and install it in place of the front one - any suggestions?
Thanks

I think that I figured out the correct TEIN p/n for the bare front CST shock.

The TEIN SC430 CST Kit p/n is GSY88-KUSS3 .

In the CST Assembly Diagram document the front shock p/n is shown as DRY88-1CBC2.

But I think that the bare Shock is p/n GKY88-1A9C2 after looking at info online in Japan.

Does anyone have a CST front shock that they can easily see to confirm the front shock p/n?
Thanks

Check the last page of this manual for your info: Click here

I would love to know how long your rebuild takes since I was told it would have to be shipped to Japan (for complete rebuild).

Good Luck!

Thanks - I did look at that document too - luckily I had scanned and saved it! That's where I got the shock p/n's.

I do want to send off this front one and an older rear one back to TEIN for rebuilding, but I really need to find a replacement one since this is my daily driver.
Thanks
