Questions?
I didn't get the daily Planet thing either. I thought maybe it was just me.
Also, how could anyone discover a river ? Wasn't it already there ? That's like Columbus discovering America...........I equate that to me going into your garage and discovering your Lexus and then claiming it's mine.
Also, what's Clark got to do with Plasticman ? I thought Wonder Woman invented the Wonder Bra ?
Last of all, I thought Stanley and Oliver discovered all this stuff. Isn't that where the famous quotes " It that you Stanley?" answered by "It certainly is, Ollie." came from ??
And last, last of all, isn't the Susquehanna River home of the Susquehanna Hat Company ? (2 bucks if you can tell me where that's from)

Susquehanna Hat Company??? bash bash bash slam sock
Abbott & Costello sketch, but I can't remember the name of the flick.
Larry ... don't fall for that "Columbus didn't discover" argument. I would surely like to know how people (not you - I know you're foolin' around) who believe that define the word "discover".
You're correct about Wonder Woman *sigh*
And last but not least, Stanley and Oliver invented The Oliver Twist as demonstrated below ....

LOLOLOLOLOLOL !! You're too much Ed !
It wasn't a movie, it was a TV sketch. It was either Mr. Fields or Bachigaloop (sp ?) that went nuts when the hat company was mentioned.
Actually, to discover means to come upon somthing that already exists but the majority are unaware of it's existence, or to make known to all what is either totally unknown or known only to a select few (at least that what it means to me.............I also just realized I said exactly the same thing twice, but worded differently.........I'm truly brilliant !)
p.s. I also owe you 2 bucks.

Spend the two bucks on gas ... should get you about a cupful.
I just learned that the Susquehanna Hat Company routine was first done by them in vaudeville. Folks under 30 will have to look that up. I think the word is still in most dictionaries.
You are correct about "discover". Some people kinda get it mixed up with "invent".

OK, so did Gore invent the internet or discover it ?
I wonder if the hat routine was a rip off of the Niagra Falls skit ? Was that a Stooges original ?
BTW, I am a huge fan or Moe, Larry and Curley. I get hysterical whenever I watch them, even if I've seen the film a thousand times.
