Default Tom's Lower Brace

I see you guys buying the Cusco Strut Tower Brace. this is a just for show. before any strut tower brace can work you need the Tom's Lower Brace then install a tower brace. these tower brace do nothing till the bottom is tight.

Could you please show us where to buy this product and the specifications? I haven't bought anything yet, still researching options...

the strut bar is 258.09 shipped from optinsauto.com yes cost more but you get what you pay for. this is not like the Cusco which come with 3 parts. the Carbing is 1 solid part. I know to remove the cover the bar must be removed that what solid means.

Yes, I see this Carbing is better. I have no problem with the price difference.

I love the SC430 engine cover and don't want to take it off. It looks to me like the Carbing would require removing the beautiful engine cover. Darn it!

you have to remove the bar first to remove the cover. this means that the bar must be removed before you can remove engine cover.

Can I install the Carbing Bar OVER/ON TOP of the engine cover? Or does installation of the Carbing Bar require permanently REMOVING the engine cover??

THANKS BUDDY

I have tried for two years and couldn't find the Tom's lower braces (front and rear). I did get early on the l-Tunes rear member brace which was similar to a part in the Tom's 6-link set for"the rear. When I complete work in progress I might look into modifying the braces available formthe IS.

I have the Cusco STB and have been very happy and certainly felt the differnce when I put it on. The Carbing bar should be a lot stiffer.
