Default Tranny service

I had a few hours free this morning so I decided to clean out the filter in the tranny.

Quite a bit of metals crap were attached to the 3 magnets as well at the bottom of the pan.

I also notice a little weep on my rear shock, maybe its time to get serious and bite the bullet and get a set of coilovers.

Any suggestion other coilovers apart from the Megan ones?

Mine is a 2002 and so there is no gasket, its uses the Toyota oil pan sealant. You spend most of your time scraping off the old sealant from the pan and the tranny.

I just got BC coilovers.. Loving them!! I have only kept the dampening at mid (15 ticks between soft and hard) and with 20x8.5 F and 20x10 R wheels +20/23 offset my fenders are covering the top part of the tire and very very close to touching the inside but they never do and the ride is very nice and comfy.. you will just feel the cracks in the road slightly more.. It was really worth it, has transformed the SC completely!

Does the BC coilovers comes with rubber top mounts front and rear?

You would have to ask the vendor... I think thats an upgrade OR it comes standard for certain vehicles... for example when i bought these for my car I thought they would have adjustable camber plates.. so i contacted them and found out that adjustable camber mounts are meant for macpherson suspensions so where the strut is mounted directly to hub and there is no upper control holding the hub assembly.. so the strut has to be moved in or out to adjust camber.. for our cars we would need the upper adjustable control arm which I bought aswell.

this is where i bought my bc's from

http://www.driftaround.ca/products/f...-10-sc430-r-11

you can see at the bottom in upgrades, they mention rubber mounts.. But yeah it was definately worth the money spent.. the oem suspension is very heavy also :/
