2002 SC430 - P0135 - Bank 1 Sensor 1
Anybody replaced this? I've read a lot on here of LS430 replacement but haven't seen any SC430 replacement. It's the same, I assume?
I just ordered this:
https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/mor...728&cc=1377817
Denso 2344138
Which from my research and knowledge, should be correct. Drivers side, upstream, bank 1 sensor 1 for P0135 error.
I've done this on Hondas, BMWs and VWs before, just not my lexus yet. Hopefully it's fairly straight forward.

Yes, it is the drivers side O2 sensor before the catalytic converter. While you have to remove a plastic under-engine cover, it is the easier one to replace. ( The rear O2 sensors' harness goes into the vehicle and connects under the console stack area. )

I believe that there are one or two theads on the O2 sensors, including a couple of pdfs with locations.

Ok. Just had this replaced. Cleared the code, and now, code p0125 shows up! What gives? Anybody seen this happen before, you change and fix one thing only to have another code pop up? Aggravating.

I think the toyota dealership either installed it incorrectly, broke something, or it's a faulty o2 sensor. Only way to tell is to take it out and check resistance. Probably just going to take it to the dealer like I should have in the first place...
P0125 after P0135, what a pain.

Heard back from Lexus dealer...apparently there was a 'chaffed' wire somewhere that was causing the P0125 after the P0135 was fixed when I had the O2 sensor replaced. Still waiting to get it back, hopefully today.
