76210Guy---"They actually replaced BOTH exhaust tips so they would match. I was shocked. The parts list was almost three pages long - the most expensive part was the muffler, followed by the bumper cover. It came to $2.7K and change."

Impressive sir! I was anticipating the bill would be quite high. So many people fail to realize the damage isn't just cosmetic. It goes much deeper than that to return a vehicle to OEM status. I'm glad your shop was professional about it, and that it turned out fantastic!

There was no police report - imagine a fender bender in Friday commute traffic on a 6 lane headed North in DFW? Police? No. I filed the claim with my company - never had an insurance claim before. Progressive took good care of me. I don't have any complaints except that the other drive basically had "Joe Bob Local Insurance" something something mutual with a 5 person office in Fort Worth. Let the subrogation begin!

PS: Neither Progressive nor the body shop report to Carfax.

I'm glad that you got her back and looking good again. Just in time for some good top down weather, I might add!

looks like a great job, you found a professional shop!

I took my car to the Progressive concierge center in Lewisville - they sent it out to Mike's Body Shop, 1028 Texas 121 Business, Lewisville, TX 75057 Phone972) 436-0099

They did a great job and detailed the car before I got it back. I am going to go to them for a few chip touch ups because I am too lazy to do a Dr. Colorchip!
