I Got Rear Ended!!
So I was sitting in traffic yesterday minding my own business when an elderly man driving a 2005 LS430 failed to make his stop. Luckily I had enough space in front or else I would have hit the car in front of me. Needless to say I am very upset that my car will be out of commission for a month and all my rear mods have been destroyed. I am also worried that my insurance is going to go up. Take a look at the damage...

That sucks! If the accident isn't your fault, then you don't have worry about your insurance going up. My car was just in a front end collision because some lady was looking down at the ground to pick something up as she was pulling to a shopping center. I swear the warm weather make people dumber!
. I have been hit some many times in my other cars its not even funny. I got sandwiched between a F250 and a Sentra the last time sitting at a red light in my Durango. You have nothing to worry about - its all on him.
Sorry to hear that about your car, but at least you're not hurt. I wouldn't worried about insurance at all, cuz they goes up even if you don't have accident.. Get your car fix then take time to shop around for insurance..
dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... looks like it hurts, hope your okay and your insurance is not going to go up cause it aint yo fault and the + side to this... u get all new LED TAIL LIGHTS and NEW MODs added soon but i would say most likey it would be salvaged.... buy it back for $700 and do a part out.....got dibs

The quarter panel is rippled and thats what scares me the most. I'm praying they are not going to title my car salvaged! Thanks for the insurance info guys. That puts me as some ease. Now I need options for a new rear bumper. Any suggestions??
Sorry to hear your car got hit. I hate to see accidents that are so easily preventable. This is the exact reason why I will never own a motorcycle. I am not worried about me, I am worried about all these idiots on the road that forget they are actually operating a 4,000 lb. machine.
That looks very bad. What really sucks is it will probly go on a carfax report and affect your resale (if that ever comes up). Take a lot of pics before and after, during the repair if possible so you can prove exactly the extent of the damage and how it was repaired.
