Default SC430 Key remote housing broken

Hey everyone,

so when I bought this car the remote was broken, I got it changed into a new one and the second one has now broken after a year. The SC's key is a pretty crappy design in my opinion as the key is held by its 2 mm tip inside the plastic remote. The area on remote to hold comfortably and turn in ignition causes alot of stress on the plastic and im not rough with it but unless you hold right from the front tip this will eventually break. . Is there another proper Lexus remote that can be programmed to this car?

Thanks !

I have this one. Its ok but very bulky. I had to take it off my regular keychain and just keep it separate. The key can and does pop out on its own because the release button is sensitive and does not take much to spring open

I have had mine since 2009 and never had a problem. I have a 2000 RX and it has the same key housing. Never a problem there either. You do know that that it is electrical and you don't have to crank it?
