Default Adjusting neutral safety switch

As always, apologies if I missed a thread on this: I did search didn't find anything.

I have recurring P0705 trouble codes. Lexus dealer checked the N/S switch itself and said it's good. I checked all the wiring, found an open, shouted Eureka! Ran a new wire, now all wires test good, but still getting the code. SO - I think I may need to adjust the position of the switch, since the trouble code is for a range malfunctio. BUT - I can't find a procedure anywhere. Help, anyone? THANKS!

Now that all wires check out try the universal sc430 cure and disconnect the battery for a few minutes, it's like chicken soup for our cars, it helps cure the most curious ailments!

Default You won't believe this!

I had also been having trouble codes for the bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor (passenger side ahead of the catalytic converter - I think it was P1340, but don't recall for certain), and P2118 for the throttle control motor. Turns out all of these were being caused by a bad alternator. The codes didn't appear when the battery was freshly charged, but would appear as the battery was depleted - all related to low voltage. Thanks for the offers of help.
