Default SC 430 MPG again

I averaged 26.6 MPG on my 400 mile trip this weekend. Best MPG I have ever achieved with this auto. Very impressive (for me anyway)!

That's excellent. I did about that on the freeway, but it dropped when I hit 80mph.

That's great MPG! The best I've ever achieved was 24.9 on the freeway.

I got this MPG on my trip to Le Mans last year. Going again in a couple of weeks, see if I can better it.

Best regards
Steve

It was a round trip from Central Nj to Albany, NY. GSP , RT 17, NYS Thruway & back.
I guess I can thank the state trooprs for the good gas milage. There were a ton of them on the NYS Thruway.

Building a house near my new job, living with a bad commute for six more months. Driving 80 MPH, 600 miles a week, and getting about 24 MPG. City driving is around 21.

I hope CNG conversion will become more popular and less costly, then my son can still afford to drive the SC when he grows up, which the gas prices may be $10 $15 / gallon by that time?

Wow!!! $9.77 a gallon is crazy!!!
In my part of Florida, unleaded is $3.28 a gallon. I use premium in the SC which is currently $3.57 a gallon.

You make me want to cry..............it's a good job my SC is not my daily driver.

Our average in London is £1.38 litre x 4.56 (litres in a gallon)= £6.29 a gallon, at todays conversion = $9.73....................

My bad....of course a US gallon is less than an Imperial Gallon.

There is 3.785 Litres in a US Gallon x £1.38 = £5.22 at today's conversion = $8.08 for a US gallon in the UK........that makes it much better lol.

So now that I have realised that a US gallon is less than an Imperial Gallon, my 27.3 changes to 22.7 miles per US gallon. Doh.

In southern most Southern California premium petrol is $4.27& 9/10 a US gallon. California has its "summer formulation" which allegedly is more expensive to produce. At the same time when refineries switch over to the summer formulation, they also begin maintenance, thus artifically reducing supply...
