gps calibration after nav tool install
#31
Since this thread now "lives" again perhaps this is a good place for me to post this question rather than start a new thread. So here goes....
I don't need or want to figure out how to get my 12 year old Navigation system to work as well as the NAV that is available in today's device we still call a cell phone but does so much more. I am probably going to purchase and have an Installer put a new Double Din Radio with CD player into the spot where the OEM radio is now. What "better" uses (other than watching a movie) can I use the current NAV screen for, and what additional equipment would I need to have installed. I am thinking back-up camera, is there anything else?
Looking forward to you techies responding. Thanks

Does the double din screen not do the rest?
What do you want?
Perhaps DirecTV, because that is a solution!

I don't know what a Double Din screen will or will not show, since I have never ever owned a car with one, nor have I ever shopped for one before, so that is why I asked? I am just looking for constructive suggestions on what could be done while my car dash is being pulled apart that would make it so that my NAV screen isn't just something that sits there, behind the door, never used.

That is about it...the upper screen can show the default nav, movies and back up camera.
I like the flexibility and I like my Pioneer double din radio, AVHX5700BHS and BeatSonic interface.
