Default My sc is dead please help

I went to start my sc after sitting for a week, and it's dead. I am assuming it's the battery, but I can't get into neutral to push it out of the garage. I can't pop the hood latch either, guess that's electronic also, this may sound stupid, but how do I get to the battery to jump?

The hood opens by cable, once you open the hood, take the battery out charge it restall and start car.

Why can't it go into neutral? Pop the hood remove battery and charge.Or leave it in there and charge it.Don't jump a dead battery.

The hood release is under the dash to the right of parking brake. IN order to move shift lever to neutral you have to unlock the steering with the key if you still cant move the shift lever then look in your owners manual there is a section on how to unlock the shift lever if it is locked . You have to insert a screw driver into a slot located with in the shifter pattern . It better explains this in the manual . How old is the battery ? I see your in PA where about . I am in Merion Pa a suburb of Phila

The hood release is a manual cable it is not electric . If its not working it may be stuck or else it did not release when you pulled it. Or else it did release and it did pop up try and pull up on the hood while some one inside the car pulls the the inside cable release.again Then if it pops you have to release a saftey lever under the hood and it should open

It's very possible that the cable which releases the hood is not functioning because of age (this happens with the older GSs too). Try having one person hold the hood release latch open from inside the car, and another person try to pull up the hood while the first person is still holding the latch release.

Regarding the hood release, without m,y glasses, I couldn't find the hood release. (lol) To get into neutral, there's a release on top of the gear box I had to get to, to get into neutral, pretty easy actually.
