The antenna in our '02 stays up all the time now when the car is running. Even when we play CD's. It used to retract when CD's were being played. It does retract when the head unit is off and if the car is shut off so the mechanism appears to be working fine.

Is there a switch or setting I need to check to correct this? Thanks!

Thanks Talwang! We started using the RDS feature about a year or so ago when this started. Makes sense now.
