Default need help!

I keep having an issue with my front left side suspension. when i start to drive it feels like the left tire is dragging . then when i get to speed it goes away but when i hit 60 mph the wheel has a shack and this is especially when i hit a pothole. i took it and they checked all my bushings etc and nothing. anyone know what it can be. can it be shocks?

Try a different shop to check everything for you. There's def. something wrong with it.

He has been taking care of my car since day one. i am going again to him tom for a complete check up. he said that the only thing he saw last time is that the sterring rack was a bit loose but nothing that would cause a vibartion like that.

I had some vibration issues when my spacers on my wheels weren't tight enough. Sounds like something is loose or coming off. I wouldn't drive it at highway speeds if it feels that bad, it could be dangerous for you. Do you have another car you can use until the SC is fixed?

its bad on the highway if there is bump or uneven surface. btw i just added new tein springs you think my old shocks went? i tried the bounce test on my car. the rear is nice and tight but when i do it of the front i get more motion and its softer than the rear.

I know it sounds crazy but what torque have your wheels been tighten too?

Should be around 80-90 pounds each corner

i dunno. i usually just do it with the gun. i dont think its that because all my wheels are put on the same way and only the front left has issues

I'm keying on the low-speed 'dragging' quality. I'd first check for a sticking brake caliper or the like. So when the front is jacked up and you spin the wheel -- what do you hear/see compared to the right side????

While it is up - rock the wheel with your hands at 12 and 6 oclock, and 3 and 9 o'clock. If solid then wouldn't worry so much about ball joints or tie rod ends (and by extension the steering rack). However, might want to grab a tie rod directly and see if the rack is tight in its mounts.

i know the brakes are fine. i will have him try rocking the wheel. when i took it to him he took a long metal bar and tried to put tension on the joints and he said they were tight. i am going to him tonight let see what it is.

I did the bounce test on my SC and rear is stiff while the front is soft. But I don't have the problem you were describing.

I went tonight to my mechanic at first he thought it might be the tire.we took it for a test drive. then put it up on the lift. he took a pry bar again and tested out all the joints.he turned the wheels to check if its the brakes and that was ok. so as he checked the sway bar it was making some sqweeking noise. then as he checked it the lower ball joint were leaking oil . is that normal? he told me to get new ball joints and sway bar bushing. btw both lower ball joints were leaking .
