Amen to that. They gouged me for work on my wife's RX and I started going to Toyota for service. Now there's Lexus of Henderson about 5 minutes from my house and so far they have been good. Thanks again for the tint advice. I'm ordering the tint today and I'll see if I can find the installer you used...

My concerns with tail light tint is that you would loose the "texture" of the tail light by making it appear all "flat". The idea of tinting it red is a good one to get rid of the orange in 2002-2005 models, but I'm not sure how good the light would look without the 'texture' which is inside the light.

hi guys
i hear everyone talking about changing to 06 tailights. but no ones talking about, is the 06 rear tailight computer for the light to work properly. you just put in tailight and your done. i'm under the understanding for 06 tailights to work properly you need the 06 computer. i had to use it when i installed my Clear Corner tailights.

Bacardi - the ecu is only necessay so the light-out warning doesn't show on the dashboard. Other than that, at least with the '06+ tail lights everything works. There is a DIY thread on placing a small piece of electrical tape behind the console to cover the hole the warning light shines through as an option for buying the new computer. I don't know if your new CC tail lights work the same as the '06+. BTW Super congrts and getting your lights installed so fast - please post pictures on the bulb thread or can you open a thread showing all your Clearcorner upgrades?

Red is very popular, that's why I chose NOT to go with that! And certainly not yellow (on a black car)... I'm still debating.... Do I want "classy look" or "bold look"????
