balance has been the source of the vibration problem for many of our cars. Was it road forced balanced using the Hunter road force machine? What kind of tires are you running? (rft or regular) Do your tires have problems with flat spots? Could you have bent a wheel?
my car is doing the exact same thing. i think i might have a bent rim. im waiting on my gspiders but im getting the lca bushings steering rack bushings n sways done on sat. ill report back
I have regular tires. I dont have any flat spots on them. I had them balanced not road forced tested. But still it feels like its the suspension. I have even swapped out the front wheels to the back and same thing. Btw no bent rims
I had this problem at 55. Replaced the shocks with coilovers and road forced balance the tires. Problem is gone now. I would try the road force balance first.
I have the same steering vibrating issue but only on uneven road. The vibration is more obivous with top-down. The vibration is on the steering wheel only. I don't feel vibration on the door handle/dash board/floor. I believe it have to do with the whole steering setup. I see thread that other SC owner states it reduce vibrating after replacing the brushing.
I saw this same question on a BMW M3 forum. Their response was
20th Ave and 60th Street , there is a tire shop that does have a Road Balance machine... Im not 100% sure if there employees are trained to actually use the equipment the way its supposed to be used.
