Replaced battery on a 2004 SC 430 & now having issues strarting...
Is there a sequence or code that must be followed?
Could it it be a security code issue?
Thanks...

Can you be more specific on your issues??
In last 3 months my battery died twice(no engine crank but easy jump start), both the times I was having a lunch with the radio on (10 mins). I know my door speaker does not sound right, could that be a reason? Can I just disconnect the bad speaker?
It could be that the alternator is not charging all the time. It happened to me twice that I had a faulty alternator that wasn't charging and did not trigger the ALT warning light.

I wouldn't suggest disconnecting the faulty speaker, you could dammage the amp because of the out of balance load.

Need more information. I replaced my battery a few weeks ago with no issues aside from having to reset the seats so that I could save my seat settings. The OP didn't say he was having issues with a flat battery just that he was having problems of some sort after replacing the battery.
Still problems with starting ... Cranks sometimes perfect & other times just goes click, click, click...
Could it be the new GOLD A ZONE battery 770 CCA?? ... some suggest Interstate only...
Could it be starter??... 58,000 miles

Sounds like a "ground" issue. Insure all battery cable clamps are clean and tight on the battery terminals and that the "negative" terminal harness has a clean and secure connection to its grounding point.
I agree with lugnuts. There is either a bad connection or a bad battery. Since you just replaced the battery, can you confirm that it is getting charged properly?
If so, the next thing to check are the connections. It sounds like the ones you still need to either check or have checked are the ground cable's connection to the chassis (or wherever it gets its ground) and the cables going to the starter.
The other thing to check are the lugs on the cables. Make sure that they still are firmly attached to the cables and don't have a lot of corrosion (or other rot) in them or coming out of them. You might need to replace your cables in that case (not cheap but doesn't require a second loan on your house).
