Default Car Battery and Key Battery

Does any know, if I disconnect the car battery what functions need to be re-programmed?

Also, do the keyless entry functions need to be reset after replacing the key batteries?

I think if you have your dealer replace the car battery they will do what is necessary to save all of your setting but if you just disconnect and replace the battery yourself most settings may be lost.

I don't believe replacing the key fob battery would effect anything.

from my experience, if you disconnect, and connect soon enough, nothing will change, even radio presets. However, if you disconnect for days on end, maybe the radio presets might get deleted, thats about IT.

Trip meter wont reset, neither will your keys, or anything else of any significance for that matter.

Changed the main Batt and nothing happened. Even the radio stations stayed the same, I was amazed.

Make sure you turn off you radio before you remove the battery. If not the the radio will go in security code mode. All the sytem will work fine if you are just replacing your remote key battery.
