hi guys
just installed my Sprint Booster, took me 1/2 hr and i had a stroke, thats how hard it was. i'm keeping it in the red light setting ( sport ). i was test driving to get the feel, very nice. best thing the lag is gone. money well spent. shifts better hole different car.
Stroke and sprint booster don't mix.
What made it so hard? Folks I know installed it in 10 mins (on BMWs).
Sorry I didn't ask my question correctly. I meant to ask about the response on the last 25 percent of pedal. If the device causes the car to be more responsive quicker but does not increase zero to sixty times, is there a dead spot near the end of the pedal travel?

I have it on another car. It doesn't improve actual performance aka zero to sixty runs or quarter mile. It just cuts the lag and gives a better foot to pedal feel.

Not that I needed your confirmation.. but there it is.
looks like the Gen 2 is available now on ebay for about 250...is this way different then driving in ECT? I dont drive either of my cars in ECT one of the service techs told me that excessive use of the ECT or Snow option on any Lexus will speed up the death of the tranny. Mind you this was when we brought in the old 94 ES300 in with a bad tranny which we had driven in ECT for the last 70k miles or so (car had around 150k miles on it at that point).
