You have a Gen 2 NAV System. 5.1 means version released NOV 2005.
Current Gen 2-3 release is 10.1. Means updated NOV 2010. Sewell sells 8.1 sometimes for $90. Rare but it shows up once in a while on clearance. Or you can try fleabay, but that's hit or miss.
New one is $199 (10.1 release).

thanks for the reply! almost all the roads are complete on my current version, but I figure an update can't hurt. I got an email on a used one that may pan out, i'll update here. thanks!
