Default AFS Adaptive Front-lighting System Conversion

I am going to install the 06+ headlights into our 2002 sc430. Has anyone successfully done the AFS conversion?

I do not think the adaptive heads lights do much.

+1 when I extensively drove 2006+ cars looking for my last purchase and then drove the 2002-2005 I didn't notice anything. Are they supposed to turn more proactively as your wheels turn corners? Sounds like a PITA to install.

Not only the systems up by the lights, but wiring and the switch in the passenger compartment. I agree with Derek, what a PITA.

I guess nevermind that thought. Lol. I thought it might of been something not as complex. I'll just ask kristi to hold a flashlight at the road while I'm turning.

Actually this may not be a direct comp for our SC430s but when I drive our Acura RL with AFS on winding dark roads, the AFS is helpful for my peripheral vision. Driving on the same roads in the SC, I see a little less around the edges, especially when I am on a road with curves. Does not mean I would make the effort to install AFS on the SC though. Just saying AFS is somewhat helpful and it is nice to have.
