Here's my problem, recharged my A/C about a month ago, worked sometimes, had to shut off the A/C and turn it back on to get it to work. Tried to recharge it again today and it wouldn't take any charge, compressor cut in but no pressure on the high side and same pressure on the low side, 50 psi on both. Didn't matter what I did, shut off the A/C and turned it back on and nothing. I suspect I have a faulty compressor but I was wondering if it could be my thermal expansion valve. The low side pipes and high side pipes are the same temp so I doubt it's the valve. Anybody ever have a similar problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
